TUAT COVID-19 Response Headquarter

TUAT Measures in Response to a Third COVID-19 State of Emergency for Tokyo, etc.

On Friday, April 23, the Japanese government decided to declare a third "State of Emergency in Response to the Novel Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19)" for Tokyo; and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is expected to implement measures according to this declaration. These measures are expected to be effective from Sunday, April 25 to Tuesday, May 11. Since April, we have been holding face-to-face lectures as much as possible while incorporating online lectures in appropriate situations at TUAT to prevent infection spread and ensure students’ learning opportunities. We ask all students to continue to pay attention to the following points and take appropriate actions.

  • From Monday, April 26, some lectures will be conducted online. For lectures that are conducted face-to-face, they will be carried out after thorough infection prevention measures are taken. However, please follow the policies of the Faculty/Graduate School you belong to.
  • For those students who wish not to come to Tokyo or not to commute to university due to concerns on infection, we will take account of the situation if possible.
